At the General PAC Meeting in April, the librarians introduced the concept of transforming the library into a Learning Commons that functions more as a shared learning space. The PYP Coordinator also discussed how the IB Committee evaluation visit went. If you missed the meeting, the minutes can be found here.
Join us for a special year-end celebration with wine & cheese! This will be the final General PAC Meeting of the year, focusing on social time for our parents. We hope to see you there.

What better way to celebrate the week than with a healthy frozen treat?
In partnership with On The Go First Aid Training, PAC has organized the Stay Safe Course for grade 6 students on Monday, May 6 from 8:45 am - 3:00 pm. This is a District Pro-D Day (school will not be in session).
This is a great opportunity for your student to learn about being safe when they are without direct supervision of an adult, both at home and in the community. Includes basic first aid skills. More info about the course can be found by clicking here. Get your spot now, as space is limited.
If the form sent home last week didn't quite make it to you, click here for a copy!
*SAVE THE DATE: Mon, June 10 - Stay Safe Course for grade 4 & 5 students

Some are run free of charge by school staff, others by North Shore Neighbourhood House (NSNH) and some are fee-based by a variety of contractors. See our specially dedicated webpage to learn about what is available and how to register your child.
The fee-based programs have different start dates, but all free programming should start next week.
